Pastor Ivery Guyton, Jr. was born in Pahokee, Florida to Ivery, Sr. and Winnie Guyton. He is the thirteenth child of fourteen children, who received his calling to minister the Word of God at the young age of seven. Realizing the call on his life, family and friends began to call him the “Preacher Boy”. Empowered by God with multiple gifts, at age eleven, he became a pianist, anointed by God to play without the occurrence of lessons. In middle and high school, he began to operate in yet another gift as a percussionist and later a drum major that led him to Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pastor Guyton preached his first sermon at the age of fifteen at his childhood church, Saint James AME in Pahokee, Florida. He received his ministering license as a member of Holy Crusade Temple, Inc. in Moss Point, Mississippi, where he also received his calling to pastor, and later licensed while serving in the Church of God in Christ.
As a visionary, he is the Senior Pastor of the Kingdom Training Center, in Crawfordville, Florida. A loving community of believers gathering with the purpose of building the Kingdom of God by making disciples. Each one teach one, and the cycle continues of Discovering, Developing and Deploying.
As God’s vessel, he speaks the Word of God with authority, and as a result many souls have been saved, delivered and made free. Pastor Guyton preaches a Kingdom word of restoration for all; therefore, communities are changed one soul at a time.
Pastor Guyton is the husband of his partner in life and ministry, Irish Guyton, the father of six beautiful children. The grandfather to eight lovely grandchildren.
